Question
Hello, I had a few questions regarding air travel for an upcoming trip to St. Croix. 1. I have a confirmation code for both airlines and have printed off an itinary and bar code for both airlines. Since I have four travelers, do I print out 4 boarding passes? My initial flight(s) are with US Airways, therefore, I will check-in with them; do I need to print boarding passes with AA since that is the end flight to my desitination?
What about return flights?  Is my bar-code and reservation locator number valid for those flights as well?  I have round trip booking.  Since I may not be near a computer/printer, how do I check-in or print boarding passes?
Note: I booked my trip directly thru American Airlines. They offered the best value.

Thanks, Leo

Answer
Dear Leo,

Like Jack, let's go by parts...

1. The itinerary that you have in hands is your reservation and the proof of purchase.
2. In this itinerary you have a record locator that is your reservation code for your whole trip.
3. With this code, or by flight or last names, you can check-in at home and print all the boarding passes for your party of four respective websites of the airlines that you will use.
4. Please note that if there is a connection involved, you'll need plenty of time between flightsortions of your itinerary.
5. With the boarding passes on hand, just go to the airport to check your docs and baggage. Some airlines restrict by destination others don't.

If you need any additional info, let me know.

My best Regards,
R. Gomes
