Question
i live in vancouver, canada and all the travel agency details for trip planning with thier airline ticket costs always show connecting routes thru the US like LAX or phoenix or phily...do you know much about airline routes in north america? is something from canada always routed thru the states? I was hoping for a more direct route to europe...

Answer
Hello Sir. Thank you for contacting me. Yes, I do know alot about the routes in the US.
I hope I understand your question. You want to fly from Canada (Vancouver) to Europe nonstop?  If so, i know Air Canada, Air France do fly to France nonstop. If you want to fly to Germany, you can take Lufthansa.  In short, if you take an US carrier, then you may need to make a connection in the USA like LAX or PHX.  You can fly on a partner carrier like United Airlines= Star Alliance, American Airlines= OneWorld, and Delta/NWA= Skyteam.

You can ask a non U.S. carrier to be the operating carrier.
Please don't hesitate to write a follow-up question.

Hope this helps a little.
