Question
Since the recent events of Bomb Scares and such in the UK, I understand that liquid cannot be taken onto a plane, but what about taking food on, is that still ok ?

Answer
Dear Paul,

I am repeating my answer since my records shown that you did not have the opportunity to read it...

You are right,it is ok to take food onboard.

But take in mind that substances like and look alike gels, lotions and other items of similar consistency will not be permitted in carry-on baggage. These types of items must be packed in your checked baggage. So your mayonese can be confiscated.

Best regards,
