Is there a easy way to find out what type of airplane Iam going to fly with if I know the flight number? Iam going to fly with Lufthansa in 3 weeks but the ticket doesnt tell me what airplane Iam going to fly with.

Go to LH page at
http://cms.lufthansa.com/pre/de/en/homepage_Noframes/0,4449,0-0-605242,00.html

and in the box at the left side select Timetable.
Enter your origin and destination of your Lufthansa flight along with the date.
Hit the Display Timetable box.
If you did not enter the cities correctly a red Please select your desired cities or airports warning will appear with the previous frame corrected. Hit Display Timetable again. The schedule for 7 seven days will be displayed.
IF you found you flight number just hit the square icon on the left side of the flight number and the following display will be shown: (example)

Flight Number: LH457
Departs: 14:55 on Saturday, June 19, 2004
from Los Angeles, USA (Terminal B)  
Arrives: 10:25 on Sunday, June 20, 2004
at Frankfurt/Main, Germany (Terminal 1)  
Airline: Deutsche Lufthansa
Aircraft Type: Boeing 747-400
Total Travel Time: 10:30
