Question
When you redeem your miles for a first class ticket do the flight attendants know that you are flying on frequent flyer miles or do they not know that information?

Answer
Dear John,

Normally the booking class (reservation class) used for redemption is different from the common First class designator (F). Some airlines use XF, A, D or other letter.

It is hard to tell if a flight attendant has this information. All depends on how the final paperwork is produced to the crew to allow them to perform their duties.

I am feeling that you had have a bad experience on your last flight, but keep in mind that you must not be disserviced for the fact that you are using a redemption ticket. After all you paid for it.

Best Regards,
R.Gomes
