Question
i am planning on travelling from UK to Pakistan wid my 1 year 8 months old son, my question is if i buy a return ticket then would i have to pay any additional amount on his return ticket as he would be turning 2 and therefore not eligible for an infant ticket during my stay!

Answer
Dear Hira,

No you won't have to pay any additional charges, since your trip - and therefore - your contract with the airline will begin during his "infant" condition.

No contract is supposed to be changed after its beginning and there is no such a clause that changes the passenger condition from "infant" to "child" during its validity.
