Question
I am to have 2hrs stop-over in Amsterdam(KLM Airlines),do i need a transit visa.

Answer
You should not need a Transit visa because you will only be there 2 hours, and will likely not even exit the terminal.

The Dutch Embassy has a visa inquiry page:
http://www.netherlands-embassy.org/visainquiry.asp

You can use this to double-check, but it seems very, very unlikely that a simple layover requires any paperwork.  After all, most European and Asian countries with whom the US enjoys good diplomatic relations have agreements so that tourists can visit for 15 days (sometimes more) without even as much as a tourist visa.  In these cases, a passport and a return ticket is enough to satisfy the destination country.
