Question
Hi. I may be moving in a year from Greece to the United States and I have 6 pets that are rodents (3 hamsters, 2 chinchilla and a guinea pig). I want to take them with me. Can I take them on the flight in carriers? Do they need some sort of passport or health book? Thanks.

Answer
Dear Ariana,

Please taake a look at the following link:

http://www.cbp.gov/ImageCache/cgov/content/publications/pets_2epdf/v1/pets.pdf

Here you will find all the pertinent information regarding the entry of pet into the US.

For kennel information you should contact the airline you are considering to take, since the procedures may vary.

Best Regards,
R. Gomes
