Question
We are traveling from Paris to West Africa with an almost 12 hour layover in Casablanca. Same airline throughout the trip, Air Maroc, and we were wondering if we will have to get our bags and recheck them or will the airline take care of them for that long of a layover.  Thank you.

Answer
Dear Andrea,

Since Casablanca will be your first port of entry in Morocco, you will after Immigrations to clear you bags over Customs. After that you can proceed to Air Maroc counter and check with them if you can leave your bags. Due to security reasons it will up to them to accept your bags or not. Please make sure that your bags are conveniently locked.

I've checked the Casablanca airport site and did not find any information regarding a baggage storage area.

Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
R. Gomes
