Hi! I'm a Mexican who is living in new York at now,and I'm planing to fly to Mexico as soon as possible,the problem is that I'm 17 I'm turning 18 in April 20 and id like to know what i have to do to fly alone.wheater to Mexico or the border id like to know what i have to have to pass the border in car or flying.

Dear Rene,

For flying, passengers 15 through 17 years of age are considered Young Adults. Use of the unaccompanied minor service is not required for Young Adults, but is available upon request. Check with your airline.

As far as documentation, you will need your passport and the proper US visa if you are not a legal resident. If you are, you still need your passport to re-enter the US.
