Question
Dear Gomes,
I would like to know if we make reservation couple months before, it's will make the price more cheap or nothing ? it's possible to make a "open date" for 1 year more or less? another question, what and how many percent the different between 1 way ticket and return ticket, because when I checked it in some airlines the price is almost same.
Thanks so much to read and answer these questions

Ivan

Answer
Dear Ivan,

The earlier you make reservations the better is the chance to find cheapest fares. Although this may pose as and advantage, there are some cons:

1. Normally the cheapest fares have a lot of restrictions. Read the fare policy with attention.
2. You will have some days after you make the reservation to pay the ticket.
3. Depending on the airline, you won't be able to pre-reserve seats.
4. Also depending on the airline, you will not accrue mileage.

The open date ticket valid for one year is the full economic fare.

Practically there is no difference between one-way and round-trip values (provide that the fare designator is the same).

Hope it helps. Please rate this answer.

Thank you and best regards,
R. Gomes
