Questionwhat are the documents an inflight attendant should check in case of vvip's/vip's, unaccompanied minors, invalid passenger, mentally challenged passenger, 32week pregnant lady and high risk deportee...........
AnswerDear Nisha,
Please note that the information below is not standard. It may vary from airline to airline.
1.Expectant mothers
Cabin crew must be ascertain that the pregnant lady have the doctor "fit to fly" letter so that she can sign the indemnity form. Airlines have the right to deny the boarding of such cases for the safety of the affect passenger until otherwise proven that she have valid medical documents that she is fit to fly.
2. Deportee
Passport or any other form of identification, and immigrations forms (vary from country to country). If is a high-risk normally is escorted by authorities.
3. Mentally challenged passenger
Mentally challenged/autistic patients are permitted only with medical clearance (the form used by the airlines is
known as MEDICAL INFORMATION (MEDIF) FORM FOR INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS and is completed by passenger's attending physician). Also the passenger must have a suitable attendant.
4. Invalid passenger
Again the form described above.
5. Unaccompanied minors
Passports, ID's, boarding passes and internal airline forms.
6. VIP's
Normally the Flight Manifest provide the crew with such information. Please inform what WIP means.
Hope this helped. If you have any other questions please let me know.
