Question
Can you please tell me what "Interline" travel is all about? Who is it for? Why does it exist? What is unique about this service that other travel services cannot provide. Thanks.

Answer
Dear Larry,

Sorry for the delay, since I did not receive the confirmation of your question.

In ths travel industry, the term interline refers to an itinerary which involves more than one carrier.
Example:
New York-London-Milan
The leg NYC-LON is flown with American Airlines, and LON-MIL with Alitalia.
