Question
I plan to fly from Salt Lake City to Springfield Missouri in October. Would you recommend making plane reservations at this time, or am I likely to get a better deal by waiting until closer to the travel date?

Dear Ed,
Rule # 1 as airfares are concern is:
The sooner you book, the better your chances are to find the lowest fares. Also if your travel times/dates are flexible try to fly off the peak periods - i.e. early in the morning and weekends.
