Airbrushing/which airbrush, compressor to buy

Question
I just recently bought unpainted plastic and metal models,  dragon,  knights
on horseback, that kind of thing.  I'm a good artist and want a very detailed
outcome. (shading, highlights etc).   I picked up citadel paints, and a spray
can of black for under or basecoat.  It's dripping and making a mess and for
the smaller models I can see it will be hard to not overdo it. I am interested in
getting a high quality single action airbrush with a compressor.  Which one
should I buy?  Also what paint would you recommend I use?
Thank you Erlinda

Answer
Elinda,
My advice is to check out this company I have dealt with for almost
20 years. they can send you a catalog of all the airbrushes avaiable
on the market. Plus they have tips and advice on which ones perform
best for what you want to apply them to including compressors.,paints, stencils, etc. There are quite a few to choose from.
I  personally don't like single action, I  can get better detail with a double action, as it is more versatile.
The company is BearAir you can go online and see some of what they offer or call 1 800-232-7247. Ask for a catalog. This has been my  airbrush bible for many years.
Hope  this helps.
