Question
hi...just one little question...why is "No Pressure Over Capuccino" called like that?...the lyrics have nothing to do with a coffee cup!

thank you!

Paola

Answer
Hi Paola,

Alanis has never really explained word for word why the song is called "No Pressure Over Cappuccino". However, the song was written about her gay twin brother, and his life problems. I would guess that her conversations with him were over cappuccino, and she didn't pressure him to open up to her.

Hope I was enough help!

Expertise

I am quite familiar with both the life and music of singer Alanis Morissette. I have been following her since 1995 (when her "Jagged Little Pill" album was released), and know a lot about her!

Experience

I am not sure what "area" you mean. I am assuming this is my knowledge of Alanis. Most people I know personally are always curious about my main musical interest, and constantly try to challenge me with tricky questions. So far, however, no question has gotten at me yet.
