This may be quite a strange question. I don't want to know about Alanis Morissette directly (although I do love her music), I want to know about the lifestyles of the people who listen to her type of music. I'm doing a media project for my A Levels where I am creating my own music video for 'IRONIC' by Alanis Morissette, and my project includes discussing the lifestyles of her audiences. I gathered that if you are a great fan, you'd be able to tell me about your lifestyles, more importantly, your AGE, ATTITUDES AND LIFESTYLES, i.e. class etc.

Let's see if I can assist you with this question...

Personally speaking, I am white 27 year old female middle class straight and single.

I can say that her fan base ranges from 16-22 majority white, majority gay/lesbian, majority middle-class.  We most likely love her because she is raw and real and we all relate to her in one sense or another.  We are probably people that find it difficulty to express our feelings and have a tendency to hold some stuff in.  We are probably angry at the world or ourselves for some reason.  We are cool people, hmm I don't know what else to say, hope that helped..
