Question Pumps run only a second, car starts and shuts
off soon as pressure drops. relays-tachymetric&
main power replaced, fuses ok, grounds 5 16 17 on ecu good. Wiring Diagrams (Alfa & Shop Key) of little Help. Some one had jumperd a wire of main relay to run car. and car didn't want to shut off with key. Trying to repair it right- HELP!!!

Answer Does the Air Flow Meter have 5 wires or 7 wires. If the AFC has 5 wires then the drive relay is actually controlled by the
ECU signel to the negative side of the coil and it is at this connection that you will have trouble. Also, take out the leads at the socket for the drive relay and inspect and clean /and tighten or replace the spade connectors.
This assumes you are really sure that the ignition switch sends power in the run position.
(When you replaced the drive relay you did buy the dedicated and expensive relay...).
