Question
i have a Alfa 166 2.5 petrol the problem i have is the hot air does not work the temp gage on the panel read the temp of the engine but i still cant get any warm air in the car, any ideas

Answer
You did not state what the indicated temperature is. Assuming it is above 180 degrees F then this is what to check in order. The actual level of coolant in the radiator, as a low coolant level usually starves the heater first. If the level is ok then open the bleeders until fluid comes out. If that does not correct then you may have a defective thermostat or a blocked heater core.
