Question
Just purchased and Alfa that had not been driven in 10 years. cleaned the tank, replaced sock and fuel pump, fuel filter, main fuel pump and injectors. Same thing as before ,seems like it is't getting fuel. Starts and will not take fast accelerating, rev slowly and will go above alarms' rev fast and will bog and try to die. Will not start when hot,but can shoot starting fluid in and will start. Just about at the end of rope. Please help!

Answer
Check twice that the plug wire sequence in the cap is good.  Then check the ignition timing. The timing is set by a mark on the flywheel. If it is damaged or the flywheel was removed during a clutch repair, it could have been installed incorrectly so that the timing will be way off. If the timing is correct then disconnect the O2 sensor to see if that helps. Then get back to me.
