just fitted 2.0 16 V twin spark engine.ran up to operating temp and fan did not operate when up to temp.but  worked ok  b4 it was took out
Answer -
I do not understand the question--what do you mean by "t spark".

Answer
If you are certain that all electrical connections are ok then  there probably is trapped air in the system.  Loosen the fan temp sensor until liquid starts to come out then retighten.  25 foot pounds (hand tight) should do it.  Also, did the thermostat open properly (did you feel heat in both the supply and return hose at the radiator.  If not then look for the bleeder screw at the radiator and on the top of engine or loosen hose clamps in those areas to induce bleeding.
You can also use an ohmmeter to check operation of the fan temp switch.
