Question
hi i drive a Alfa 145 2l recently it overheats a lot i have replaced the thermostat and fluched the sistem clean but still it overheats i have noticed that the water pipes builds up presure when the motor is running please help

Answer
As the temperature rises in a confined space so does the pressure. The cap is supposed to relieve the pressure at about 16 psi for most systems. If it overheats below 30mph then the cooling fan is not coming on. If it overheats above 40mph then the radiator is too small or clogged or the impeller on the water pump is failing.
