Question
how do i solve 3x-2 is greater or less than 35? also can u explain the concept of point-slope i don't seem to understand it...

Answer
That's two problems, 3x-2 > 35 and 3x-2 < 35
Just take 3x-2 = 35 so 3x = 37 and x = 37/3
Therefore, if x is greater than 37/3, then 3x-2 > 35.
If x is less than 37/3, then 3x-2 < 35.
I don't know what you mean by point-slope.  Usually we talk about slope-intercept for a line.
