Question
i need MAJor help trying to get...
0.3x+0.8y=3.6     These are partnered substituntion and elimination things
0.7x+0.3y=-5.7

and...

5x-9y=8.5
3x+7y=-1.1

Answer
multiply the 1st eq. by 3 to get 0.9x+2.4y = 10.8
multiply the 2nd eq. by 8 to get 5.6x+2.4y = -45.6
subtract the 1st from the 2nd to get 4.7x = -56.4 so x = -12 and then y = 9
multiply the 1st eq. by 3 to get 15x-27y = 25.5
multiply the 2nd eq. by 5 to get 15x+35y = -5.5
subtract the 2nd eq. from the 1st to get -62y = 31 so y = -1/2 and
then x = 4/5
