Question
I need to see the problems worked out in these two methods. I have got to make sure I have it right. 2x+3y=5
                                        9y=15-6x
The other one is: 2x-3y=-1
                 3x-4y=5

Answer
2x+3y=5 and 9y=15-6x
using substitution with 2x=5-3y, 9y=15-3(5-3y) so y=0 and x = 5/2
2x-3y = -1 and 3x-4y = 5
using elimination, multiply 1st eq. by 3 to get
6x-9y = -3
multiply 2nd eq. by 2 to get
6x-8y = 10
subtracting, -y = -13 so y = 13, x = 19
