Question
Write the equation using slope-intercept?

Passing through (4,2) and (3,4) and state the standard form and give the parallel and perpendicular slopes.

Answer
The slope-intercept equation is y=mx+b where m is the slope and
b is the y-intercept.  So put in your values to get
2 = m(4)+b and 4 = m(3)+b
solving gives you m=-2, b=10 and your equation is y = -2x+10.
the parallel slope is -2 and the perpendicular slope is 1/2
