Question
Help i don't know how to solve this question.
Solve the linear system by using linear combinations.
3x - 10y = -25
4x + 40y = 20
Thank you

Answer
I don't know what you mean by linear combinations but here's how I would solve it.  Divide the 2nd eq. by 4 to get x+10y = 5
Add that to the 1st eq. to get 4x = -20 so x = -5 and then y = 1.

If you tell me what you mean by linear combinations, then I can solve it by that means.
