Question
I have trouble solving quadratic equations that have a coefficient in front of the x[squared]  ex.4x[squared]+10x-6.  Could you possibly give two or three examples and solve them? Thanks.

Answer
well, you can cancel out 2 to get 2x^2 +5x -3 = 0
and then you might see that you can factor it to (2x-1)(x+3)
I don't have any other examples.

I've been working algebra problems for 60 years so I'm pretty knowledgable.  I just don't have a lot of problems setting around to send someone.
