Question
Write a function whose graph Y=x(to the third) reflected about the x-axis and the y-axis..

Answer
The function is y = x^(1/3).

To reflect about the x-axis, take the negative of the function.
The function is then y = -x^(1/3).

To reflect about the y-axis, make y negative.
That is, -y = x^(1/3), so y = -x^(1/3).

Note that the function comes out the same when reflected about either axis.
