Name the quadrant in which theta (Θ) lies

sinΘ < 0 , cosinΘ > 0

tan Θ < 0 , sinΘ < 0

cotΘ > 0 , sec Θ < 0

how do you determine which quadrant is these in?

Answer
The sine is positive in the 1st and 2nd quadrants.
The cosine is positive in the 1st and 4th quadrants.
Since tangent = sine/cosine, cotangent = cosine/sine and
secant = 1/cosine, you can figure out the others.
for your problems,
1) 4
2) 4
3) 3
