Question
Solve each linear system by graphing:

4x - y + 6 = 0
X + y - 1 = 0

Answer
Note the easiest way to graph these lines is to see where they cross the axis.
The first is 4x - y = -6, so when y is 0, x is -6/4 = -1.5, and whey x is 0, y is 6.
The two points are (-1.5, 0) and (0,6).
Plot these two points on graph paper and draw the line.

The second equation is x + y = 1, so when y is 0, x is 1 and when x is 0, y is 1.
The two points are (1,0) and (0,1).
Plot these two points on the same sheet of graph paper and draw that line.

They should intersect at (-1,2).
