Question
y = 8/3x - 4

i gotta sketch the graph too

Answer
The equation of a line is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the intercept on the y axis.

Looking at the equation given, it would cross the y axis at y = -4
(and that is where x - 0).

The slope would be 8/3, so for every 3 points to the right (parallel to the x axis), increase by 8 points (parallel to the y axis).

After plotting the y intercept and putting in another point on the line, a ruler can be used to connect the two points and draw the appropriate line.
