Question
How do I rewrite using exponential notation? I need to assume that even roots are of nonnegative quantities and that all denominators are nonzero.

(3√5x2y)5

Answer
If I read it correctly, since the cube root is the same as to the 1/3,
this looks like (5x²y)^(5/3).

This is the same as 5^(5/3)x^(10/3)y^(5/3).

This is the same as 5*5^(2/3)(x^3)[x^(1/3)](y)[y^(2/3)].

That reduces, factoring the terms out front, to 5x³y(25xy²)^(1/3).

Again, not the ^(1/3) is the same as te cube root.
