Question
Slope= -5, passing through (-4,-2)
Slope = –2, passing through (0, –3)

really do not understand how to find this

Answer
Find the line using the point-slope equation.
The point-slope equation is y - y0 = m(x - x0) where the point is (x0, y0) and the slope is m.

So for the 1st, m = -5, x0 = -4, and y0 = -2.
That would be y+2 = -5(x+4).  That multiplies out to y+2 = -5x - 20.
Subtract 2 from both sides, and there is the equation.

For the 2nd, m = -2 and (x0,y0) = (0,-3).
Apply the same way.
