QuestionHello again Richard,
I sent you the graph all you gotta do is USE THE TABLE AND GRAPH TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS
1. Which bike shop should Ocean Bike Tours use? - Rocky's or Adrian's and then explain the answer
2. Suppose you make a graph from the table for rocky's cycle center. Would it make sense to connect the points?
and then explain and the answer
3. How much do you think each company charges to rent 32 bikes? use the area below to show your work and answer.
Rockys Cycle center:
Adrian's Bike Shop:
4. What patterns do you find in the table and in the graph?
5. Based on the patterns you found in #4 of this question, How can you predict values that are not included in the table or graph?
6. Describe a way to find the costs for renting any number of bikes from Adrian's Bike shop?
7. Describe a way to find the cost for renting any number of bikes from Rocky's Cycle Center.
AnswerSorry I didn't log on until noon today to get your questions.
1. Adrian's is cheaper if you're renting 35 bikes or less. More than 35, use Rocky.
2. It's not a straight line but you could still use to estimate costs for other numbers of bikes.
3. Adrian's cost is easy, $30 per bike, so 32 bikes would be $960. For Rocky's, I estimate $1010.
4. The graph is a straight line, the same price per bike for any number of bikes. The table shows that the more bikes you rent, the less per bike that you pay.
5. It's easy to predict for Adrian, $30 per bike. For Rocky, you can interpolate for numbers of bikes from 0 to 50, but not beyond that.
6. Just multiply by $30.
7. fit those points to a curve and get the equation of the curve.
