Question
What digits do the letters represent in this sum?  Each letter can be replaced by only one digit, and no digit is used for two different letter.

ODD + ODD + OLD = LEO
THANKS!!

Answer
Since each starts with an O and the result is 3 digits, this means that O is 1 or 2.
Since there are 3-D's added together giving an O at the end, that means D is (3O mod 10)/3.

From this, I did a little trial in Excel with O as 2 and D as 4 since 4+4+4=12,
and that gives O as 2 again in the answer.

I put the O value in A11, D in A12, L in A13, and E in A14.
With O as 2 and D as 4, I fiddled with L and E.

What I founnd was O is 2, D is 4, L is 7,, and E is 6, giving 244 + 244 + 274 = 762.
