Question
If 64 tiny squares make a square inch, how many tiny squares will make a cubic foot?  (Hint: How many tiny squares are in each inch?)

Answer
If 64 tiny squares make a square inch, then each square is 0.125" on a side.
Since the problem then talks about a cube, I will assume we have cubes that are 0.125" on a side.
There are 12" in 1', and there are 8 cubes in an inch, so 8*12=96 cubes in a foot.

That's 96 cubes each way, so it is 96^3.  Now most people use a calculator of Excel,
but I note that 96^3 = (100-4)^3 = 100^3 - 3*4*100^2 + 3*4^2*100 - 4^3 =
1,000,000 - 120,000 + 4,800 - 64 = 880,000 + 4,736 = 884,736.
