Question
A new cruise ship line has just launched 3 new ships: the Pacific Paradise, The caribbean paradise, and the mediterranean paradise. The carribean paradise has 32 more deluxe sytateroooms than the pacific paradise. The Mediterranean paradise has 37 few deluxe staterooms than three times the number of deluxe staterooms on the pacific paradise.Find the number of deluxe staterooms for each of the ships if the total number of deluxe staterooms for the three ships is 705

Answer
Hello Catherine,

Let c=the number of deluxe rooms on the Caribbean Paradise,
p=the number of deluxe rooms on the Pacific Paradise, and
m=the number of deluxe rooms on the Mediterranean Paradise

The info you gave gives:  c=p+32, m=3p-37, and c+p+m=705
substituting the first two equations into the third, gives
p+32 + p + 3p-37 = 705 and solve for p
5p-5=705 ==> 5p=700 ==> p=140
Thus, c=172 and m=383

OK?
