Divide:

9x^2+6x+1/x+1

Thanks for your help!!!

(9x^2+6x+1)/x+1 = [9x(x+1)-3(x+1)+4]/(x+1)

= [9x(x+1)/(x+1)] - [3(x+1)/(x+1)] + [4/(x+1)]

= (9x -3) + [4/(x+1)] (shown)

(Note: I am rewriting the polynomial in the numerator in the image of the linear factor in the denominator to prep it for division.)

Hope this helps. Peace.
