3Brothers ages are consecutive odd integers. The difference between the oldest and twice the age of the youngest is 24 less than middle brother's age. Find ages.I know ages (consecutive ages) are X, X+2,X+4

I tried to do

2X-X+4 +24 = X+2 Please help

As you have done , let the ages be x , x+2 , x+4

The difference between the oldest and twice the age of the youngest is 24 less than middle brother's age.

x+4 - 2x = x+2 - 24

4 -x = x - 22

26 = 2x

x = 13

The ages are 13 , 15 and 17
