Okay, I need the amplitude and period for this function, as well as an idea of what the graph would look like:

g(x)=3 sin1/2(x+2)-1

Thank you!

Hello Bob,

Before I answer your question, I need clarification regarding the equation.

Is it g(x)=3 sin[(1/2)(x+2)]-1, i.e. is the 1/2 multiplying the (x+2) and the "-1" after the

sine function? Please type in EXACTLY as it appears.

The amplitude is "3"...i.e. the multiplier.
