# Algebra/Math question

Question
Jim had 24 trees to plant in people's yards. He planted "n" trees in each yard. Write an expression that best represents the number of trees Jim planted in each yard.

Sorry for the delay...

Lets say there were 3 yards.  The number in each yard would be 24/3 = 8.
Lets say there were 4 yards.  The number in each yard would be 24/4 = 6.

What this says is that since there are n yards, the number in each yard is 24/n.
