Hello Sir,
solve for x and y, if x^2+y^3=5274 and y^2+x^3=7148. I tried many times but i failed. Hope you help.

Since the answers are so large, the answer is probably closer to the number that is cubed.
What I mean is y^3 is close to 5274 and x^3 is close to 7148.

This gives values for x and y as 19.2631888 and 17.40657698.
Since these values are a little bit large, try truncating both answers.
This gives x and y as 19 and 17.

Since it is can be seen that 19*19=361, and 19*361=6859 and the 17*17=289, and 17*289=4913,
this means x^2=361, x^3=6859, y^2=289, and y^3=4913.
Putting these back in the two equations gives 289+6859=7148 and 4913+361=5274.

Looking back at the problem, that's the numbers we're looking for, so that is the answer.
