Question
4 + 6(3-x) > 4(x+7)

Answer
4 + 6(3-x) > 4(x+7)
distribute the 6 and the 4 through the parentheses.

6 + 18 - 6x > 4x + 28

24 - 6x > 4x + 28
add 6x to both sides

24 > 10x + 28
subtract 28 from both sides

-4 > 10x
divide both sides by 10

-2/5 > x
or
x < -2/5
