Question
Can you please help me? I am doing substitutions and these are three problems that I cannot solve! I dont see how to find x or y!  here are the three problems:
1.{y=2x+1
 {Y=-3x+2

2.{2x-y+2
 {X=-25-6y

3.{X=2+6y
 {4X+Y=-42

Answer
1. substitute y from the 1st eq. into the 2nd to get
2x+1 = -3x+2, solve for x and then y
2. I assume you mean 2x-y = 2?
substitute x from the 2nd eq. into that to get
2(-25-6y) -y = 2, solve for y and then x.
3. substitute x from the 1st eq. into the 2nd to get
4((2+6y) +y = -42, solve for y and then x
