Question
Hello, My name is Jessica and I am 36.
I am trying to figure out how to do a linear equasion, but can't remember a simple rule... can you help?
Thank you

Answer
An example of a linear equation is y = 2x +3 which is the equation for a straight line.  In this case, 2 is the slope of the line and 3 is the y-intercept.  If you want to plot it, it only takes two points.  Just put in a value for x, calculate y, and plot (x,y).  Here, one point is
(0,3).
