I'm trying to get the answer to:
y = 80x + 5000
Hi Denise,
The formula you gave me is an equation for a line. There is no answer unless you have an x or y. For instance, if you want to find y when x = 2 then you plug 2 in for x and solve for y.
e.g.
y = 80x + 5000
y = 80*2 + 5000
y = 160 + 5000
y = 5160
