Question
Im having trouble finding the answer and how to write these problems out, I understand them a little bit but not that good. What you have to do is to solve the quadratic equations step by step.
FOR THESE TWO YOU ONLY HAVE TO COMPLETE THE SQAURE.

1. x squared + 12x +
2. x squared - 6x +
FOR THESE TWO YOU HAVE TO SOLVE STEP BY STEP AND BY COMPLETING THE SQUARE.

1. x squared - 6x =16
2. 2x squared - 3x +1 =0
3. x squared - x - 1=0

Answer
1. x^2 +12x +36
2. x^2 -6x +9
1. x^2 -6x +9 = 16+9 so (x-3)^2 = 25 and x = +/-5 +3
or x = 8 and -2
2. 2x^2 -3x +9/8 = 1/8
[2^1/2x -(3/4)2^1/2]^2 = 1/8
so 2^1/2x -(3/4)2^1/2 = +/- 1/64
x = 3/4 +/- (1/128)2^1/2
3. x^2 -x +1/4 = 5/4
(x -1/2)^2 = 5/4
x-1/2 = +/-(1/2)5^1/2
x = 1/2 +/-(1/2)5^1/2
