Question
can you help me solve this problem?

(1/x)-x>0

Answer
Hi Micah,

Here's how you solve this.

(1/x) - x > 0
add x to both sides.
(1/x) > x
multiply both sides by x
1 > x^2
take the square root of both sides
1 > x and x > -1 or

-1 < x < 1

That's all.  Let me know if you have any questions.
