I just need some help on this test my brain is about fried and out of a hundred questions thats all I need left so i appreciate everything.
AnswerHere's some of them. For a few, the question was not clear.
1. f(x)-g(x) = 12-x^2+x
2. 4-i is also a root (they come in pairs) and the third root is -4
3. center at (-2,8), radius = 2
4. If you mean (-7,7) and (8,1), difference in x=15, difference in y=6 so you have (15^2+6^2)^1/2 = 16.2
5. There is one root close to 0.45, the other two are imaginary
6. f(-2) = -1
7. roots are 2, -4, 6
10. x = 16/99
12. x^2+36 = (x-6i)(x+6i)
14. That's a straight line
16. log base 3 of 243 = 5
17. x = -8, 5, 5
18. another root has to be 2-i so you have
x^3-5x^2+9x-5
19. slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (1/2 -2/5)/(2/3 -3/2) = -3/25
